How To Watch William & Mary Football In 2025 | CAA Football
A new quarterback must rise to the occasion for William & Mary if the Tribe hopes to have a successful final football season in the CAA.

William & Mary will have its final dance in the CAA Football Conference this season as the Tribe is set to leave for the Patriot League beginning in 2026. After a 7-5 overall record last season, the Tribe looks to end their time in the CAA on an unforgettable note in the hands of quarterback Tyler Hughes.

Hughes will replace former quarterback Darius Wilson, who led the Tribe with nearly 2,000 passing yards and 12 touchdowns. Wilson will leave the program as just one of two players in history to record 5,000 career passing yards.
A rising junior, Hughes got some time in the driver's seat last season at backup, throwing for 132 yards, two interceptions, but no touchdowns. It's uncertain whether or not Hughes is guaranteed the starting position, but it is the most viable option right now.
