Things are looking uncertain for the New Hampshire Wildcats heading into the 2025 season, but there is plenty of room for a young quarterback to rise up and lead his team to another winning season.

Former starting quarterback Seth Morgan left some big shoes to fill during his senior year, as he was second in the conference in passing touchdowns with 22 and third in passing yards with 2,382. Now hopes of a successful year will turn toward redshirt sophomore Matthew Vezza, who made his first official appearance as starter during the team's annual spring game.

On the defensive front, the team will be without senior defensive end and captain Josiah Silver, who ranked No. 3 in the nation in sacks per game at 0.96.

The Wildcats ended at No. 24 in the FCS with a 8-5 overall, 6-2 conference record, and could very well see a repeat if Vezza steps up to the task in wake of Morgan and Silver's departure.
