Pomona-Pitzer Football Schedule 2025: Dates, Times And More
Pomona-Pitzer football had a great 2024 season, but there is room for improvement in 2025. Here is the team’s schedule for the new campaign.

The Pomona-Pitzer football team had a terrific regular season in 2024 and went on to win the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship to earn a spot in the NCAA Division III Playoffs.
Unfortunately, the Sagehens’ luck ran out there, and the season ended with a first-round loss to Whitworth.
The reigning SCIAC champions will be aiming for their third conference title since 2022 when the new season kicks off on the road against Willamette University on Sept. 6.

Including the postseason loss, Pomona-Pitzer finished the 2024 campaign 8-3 overall and 7-1 in conference play. The Sagehens topped the three-team Sun Division standings and were followed by Redlands (3-5 in SCIAC) and La Verne (0-8 in SCIAC).
The other division – the Surf Division – featured Chapman (6-2 in SCIAC), Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (6-2 in SCIAC) and California Lutheran (2-6 in SCIAC).
By virtue of its win over CMS, Chapman earned the opportunity to face Pomona-Pitzer in the SCIAC title tilt.
Chapman led the contest 28-7 at halftime, but the Sagehens mounted a second-half comeback to win 37-34.
The momentum was short-lived, though, as Whitworth handled Pomona-Pitzer 21-13 in the opening round of the playoffs.
The Sagehens will be led into the 2025 season by longtime head coach John Walsh, who assumed the role in 2016 after four seasons as the associate head coach and defensive coordinator.
