Bret Fry Named New King Women's Wrestling Coach
Former Wyoming Seminary coach Bret Fry becomes the second head women's wrestling coach at King University.

King University announced Bret Fry as its new head women's wrestling coach. Fry takes over for Jason Moorman, who built arguably the most successful women's college wrestling program.
The Tornado won four WCWA titles (2014-17) and has placed in the top five 14 times in the past 15 seasons.
Moorman and King parted ways on Oct. 18, 2024, and hired Fry on April 3, 2025.
Fry coached the highly successful Wyoming Seminary High School program before assuming this role.
King finished fifth at the 2025 National Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championships with Gracie Figueroa as the interim head coach. The team had seven All-Americans and two finalists, including Clare Booe, who wrestled for Fry at Wyoming Seminary.
