Boston College hockey, No. 1 seed in the NCAA Hockey Tournament, will take on defending national champions Quinnipiac in the Providence Regional Final.
The Boston College hockey demolished Michigan Tech in the first round of the NCAA Men's Hockey Tournament. As a reward, the No. 1 overall seed will go up against NCAA men's hockey defending national champions Quinnipiac in the Providence Regional Final.
While Boston College made quick work of Michigan Tech, Quinnipiac had a hot-contested match-up against Wisconsin--eventually winning 3-2.

Boston College has a roster full of former players who came from the USHL's U.S. National Team Development Program, including BC hockey stars Cutter Gauthier, Will Smith, Gabe Perreault and Drew Fortescue. Those players were also rostered on the World Junior Team USA, who won the 2024 World Juniors Championship by defeating Team Sweden.
Quinnipiac has their eyes set on being the first back-to-back champions since Minnesota-Duluth in 2018-2019.
Boston College will play Quinnipiac on March 31, at 4:00pm ET in Providence, RI.
