Wake Forest Baseball 2024 MLB Draft Prospects

One of the reasons Wake is ranked so high, aside from making the national semifinals last year in Omaha, is they are loaded with next-level talent.

First baseman Nick Kurtz is the unanimous No. 2 prospect in college baseball and was even picked first in one mock draft earlier this season. In a review of the Cleveland Guardians draft options, they own the No. 1 pick, Kurtz was the slugger that fit the needs the best.

Along with Kurtz is Division II transfer Seaver King, who is the No. 9 ranked prospect. JD Dix is the No. 68-ranked prospect.

Pitching-wise, Wake has two of the top pitching prospects in Chase Burns (No. 16) and Josh Hartle (No. 13) while Michael Massey is ranked No. 31.

Neither of those pitchers are expected to pitch against N.C. A&T as they are the Demon Deacons' weekend rotation.
