The Golden Spikes Award is College Baseball's version of the Heisman Trophy and goes to the game's best player. Last year's award went to LSU outfielder and No. 2 pick in the draft, Dylan Crews of LSU. He helped lead the Tigers to the 2023 NCAA Baseball National Championship last summer.

This year also features players hoping to push their teams to Omaha while also raising their draft stock.

The list includes many players on multiple MLB Mock Draft lists, including No. 1 prospect JJ Wetherholt of West Virginia, as well as No. 3 prospect Travis Bazzana, who will open the season playing on FloBaseball at the Sanderson Ford Baseball Classic with Oregon State.

College baseball's Opening Day is Feb. 16, and teams from all over the country begin their seasons.

Here's who made the Golden Spikes watch list.
