Grand Valley State University Football jumped all over No.1-ranked Ferris State with a pair of passing touchdowns in the Anchor Bone Classic.

The game may have an "Anchor" in the title, but the Grand Valley State Football team's offense isn't stuck. 

On the contrary, GVSU jumped all over the No.1-ranked Ferris State Football team in the Anchor Bone Classic. The No.7-ranked Lakers used a 36-yard touchdown pass from Cade Peterson to Cody Tierney and a 30-yard touchdown pass from Avery Moore to Kyle Nott to build a 14-0 lead in the first quarter. 

GVSU was the last Division II team to beat Ferris State, the defending Division II champs, in the regular season, and it happened in this very game a year ago.
