North Carolina A&T Football Schedule 2023: What To Know

North Carolina A&T enters a new era of football with its addition to the CAA, becoming the second HBCU in the league along with Hampton.

North Carolina A&T will be under the direction of a new leader this season after parting ways with Sam Washington, who coached the Aggies for four years.

The new man in charge is former Patriots linebacker and William & Mary defensive coordinator Vincent Brown, who was hired to be the head coach on Jan. 6.

Brown will have a lot of talent to work with this year as he is taking over a team that went 7-4 last year and finished second in the Big South.

Brown will have to make a big decision before this fall, as there's a three-man quarterback battle currently taking place between Zach Yeager, Alston Hooker--the younger brother of Lions quarterback Hendon Hooker--and Eli Brickhandler. All the potential starters gained game experience last year.

Whether Brown can lead the program to success in its new competitive conference that contains multiple top 25 FCS teams is yet to be determined.
