P4P #14 Kiara Ganey Commits To McKendree
Kiara Ganey is ranked #14 in the pound-for-pound national high school rankings, and will compete for McKendree next season.
McKendree University keeps piling up the top recruits. This time, it's Kiara Ganey.
Ganey is #14 in the national pound-for-pound rankings and the #1 ranked wrestler at 225 pounds. She is a two-time Fargo placer, including a fourth-place finish in the 2022 Junior division.
In addition to Ganey, the Bearcats currently have commitments from several high school wrestlers in the pound-for-pound rankings, including #2 Shelby Moore, #3 Destiny Rodriguez, and #8 Alex Szkotnicki.
The Bellevue, Illinois, native announced her commitment with a post on Instagram with the following message:
"I would like to announce my commitment to McKendree University. I want to thank everyone for helping me on this long and hard journey especially Coach Rashad. It's been tough, but I believe this is the place for me and I can't wait to start my next chapter here!! GO BEARCATS!!
