Top DE Prospect KJ Henry Will Play in Canton 7on7
Talented defensive end prospect KJ Henry will be playing at USA Football's event in Canton, Ohio.
When West Forsyth High School was announced as an entry into the final USAFootball 7-on-7 tournament, you had to think the Clemmons, NC, team would be bringing some of its hammers to Canton, Ohio, this weekend.
The Titans have rising junior Jaquan McMillian at cornerback. And in the class of 2018, West Forsyth features Scout four-star defensive end prospect KJ Henry and three-star running back Marcus Caldwell.
While the rosters for Canton haven't been made public yet, Henry has informed FloFootball that he will in fact be playing on Friday and Saturday.
At 6-foot-5 and just around 230 pounds, he still has the frame to fill out and is one to keep your eyes on throughout the tournament. With offers 29 Division I programs, including reported mutual interest in Alabama, Clemson, Penn State, and Ohio State, among others, we're sure the scouts' eyes are on him too. Rivals ranks him as the No. 15 overall recruit and the third-ranked DE. Henry clocks in on Scout at No. 64 overall and seventh at the position.
Be sure to tune in to FloFootball and watch all the action from Canton live, starting Friday, July 21, at noon.
